Licaones cazan un facochero – Wild dogs chase a warthog
Los Licaones (Lycaon pictus), son perros salvajes africanos son uno de los depredadores más efectivos del planeta, ya que tienen una efectividad en conseguir matar sus presas de entre el 70% y el 90% de sus ataques. Suplen su escasa corpulencia fisica con un trabajo en equipo altamente coordinado y efectivo. Esta coordinacion grupal les da su asombrosa efectividad como cazadores..
Son animales unicos, endemicos de Africa, y no tienen ningun otro pariente cercano en el mundo animal. Los licaones estan en una situacion amenazada y se calcula que su numero es inferior a 6.000 en todo Africa.

Even thay don´t have enough stregnth to kill many times big animals, they have the strength of the pack, and the start eating their prey even when it is still alive
